Summary of the UK Secretary of State for International Trade, the Rt. Hon Anne-Marie Trevelyan's Trip to Indonesia and Singapore

On February 22-25, 2022, the Secretary of State for International Trade, The Rt Honorable Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP, of the United Kingdom, spent four-day visits in the Asia Pacific region, including Indonesia, Japan, and Singapore, and met a range of ministers, senior officials, and other partners.


This post will summarize her trips to two SEA nations: the Republic of Indonesia (on Feb 22-23, 2022) and the Republic of Singapore (on Feb 25, 2022).


The objective of her visit is to put the Indo-Pacific Tilt into action and scale up trade and investment with both countries. Also, the trip is to work to discuss further cooperation and partnerships in key areas such as energy, sustainability, digitalization, and zero ambition.
