[SUMMARY]: ASEAN SECRETARY-GENERAL WORKING VISIT TO THE UK

Throwback, on 1-3 November 2023, the Secretary-General of ASEAN made a Working Visit to the UK. During the visit, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn met with DPM Oliver Dowden, 04 ministers, Members of the House of Lords, Major of London, the British Council, and the UK-ABC, as well as attended numerous meetings with leaders of institutions.
This Working Visit reaffirmed ASEAN and the UK’s growing partnership since the latter became an ASEAN Dialogue Partner in 2021, and outlined in the ASEAN-UK Plan of Action (2022-2026) and the ASEAN Community Vision.
