Second ASEAN Economic Minister-United Kingdom Meeting (2nd AEM-UK Consultation Meeting)

The Second ASEAN Economic Minister-United Kingdom Meeting (2nd AEM-UK Consultation Meeting) was held on 10 November 2022, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, a day before the Opening Ceremony of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summit and Related Summits.

The meeting was co-chaired by H.E. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce and National Representative for the AEC Council of Cambodia, and H.E. Greg Hands, Minister of State for the Department of International Trade of the UK.

The meeting focuses on the main agenda including Economic Development at the regional and global levels, the ASEAN-UK Economic Cooperation, Dialogue with Delegations from UK-ABC, and other issues.

As the result, the 2nd AEM-UK Consultation Meeting was concluded successfully with the 16 Points of the Joint Media Statement.
