First ASEAN Youth Dialogue 2022

We are delighted to share that Mr. Vanndasambath CHHUON, General Coordinator of ASEANUK-YLI, was representing the Kingdom of Cambodia at the First ASEAN Youth Dialogue 2022.

On 24-27 July 2022, Mr. Vanndasambath CHHUON, General Coordinator of ASEANUK-YLI had the honour to be a youth delegate, representing the Kingdom of Cambodia at the First ASEAN Youth Dialogue under the theme of “Youth in the Era of Fourth Industrial Revolution: Opportunities and Challenges in Post-Pandemic Recovery” held in Siem Reap Province.

During the event, he had joint with ASEAN and ROK youth delegates to deliver the policy recommendations on eight strategic topics including (1) Governance, (2) Science, Technology, and Innovation, (3) Future of Work, (4) Infrastructure and Connectivity, (5) Inclusive and Sustainable Growth, (6) Climate Change Movement, (7) Narrowing the Dev. Gap among AMS, and (8 ) People-to-People Exchange, especially ASEAN-ROK people, to the ASEAN Youth Ministers and High-Level Officials.

More importantly,

He has spent a great time with potential and good friends from the ASEAN States and ROK through many memories and networking after the two-year pandemic moving us from physical meetings to online. Everyone thanked for the warm welcome from Cambodia as the host country at the same time as the ASEAN Chair.
