Meeting with Deputy Counsellor for Development and Socio-Culture at UK Mission to ASEAN

On the morning of Friday, October 27, 2023, Mr. Vanndasambath CHHUON, General Coordinator of ASEANUK-YLI, along with Mr. Thri Shri, Deputy General Coordinator and Ms. Tov Jingsoung, Programme Support, had a privilege of meeting and talking with Ms. Amalia Mastur, Deputy Counsellor for Development and Socio-Culture, UK Mission to ASEAN, via online.

During the meeting, we had the opportunity to brief Ms. Amalia on the ongoing and progress of ASEANUK-YLI after two years of implementation, supporting the efforts to enhance understanding between ASEAN and the United Kingdom. Mr. Vanndasambath express the commitment to expand the youth-led project on a regional scale and looking forward to opportunity to collaborate with the UK Mission to ASEAN.

As response, Ms. Amalia briefly introduced the work of UK Mission to ASEAN, and encouraged support on the ASEAN-UK Plan of Actions (POA) 2022-2026. She expressed her appreciation for the good work done by ASEANUK-YLI in promoting ASEAN-UK relations and her willingness to connect our youth-led-project closely to discuss future plans and collaborations.
